12 Designers To Watch For: Spring/Summer 2010

Here we have 12-Designers from Spring 2010 Collection that you can take straight into Summer. I’ve compiled these Designers based on vision, uniqueness and wear-ability.

Acne has a modern, crisp look. We’re seeing harem pants in muted tones and vibrant colors, vests, biker pants and classic-cut blazers in black.

Ann Demeulemeester has a subtle touch of John Galliano with semi-gothic influence. Black & white graphic blouses mixed with black leather bottoms and matching stacked heels.

ADAM is a definite wearable collection, anywhere from the beach to the park to the streets. Khaki bottoms, delicate loose-fitted tops, bold fringe necklaces, floral blouses and skirts with blue & yellow pattern with leather or floral stacked heels.

Band of Outsiders is very relaxed. Aviator shades, bellowy cropped jackets, solid-colored loose-fitted tops with slouchy shorts.

Basso & Brooke is an art-punk fusion. Funky bold graphics (dresses and separates), paired with black lipstick, slick-back hair and peep-toe heels.

To describe Charles Anatase, think of a subtle version of KISS platform boots paired with vintage-inspired clothes from Anthropologie.

If Chanel, Prada, D&G, Marc Jacobs and Amy Winehouse were all thrown into a blender, it would result in Clements Ribeiro’s Spring collection. It has nautical and candy stripes, argyle patterns, dark strappy sandals, black & white printed cardigans with organic designs. Models channeled the 60’s with mod beehive twists.

Erdem truly personifies femininity and the essence of Spring with dresses and matching fabric shoes (mary janes and wedges) in a splash of floral black, purple, pink, white & yellow. Collection also includes hints of black lace.

Jenni Kayne’s vision is simple to wear. Khaki and neon yellow. White, black & blue are synced harmoniously in a very aquatic way.

Kinder Aggugini makes waves with Chanel-inspired blazers paired with funky open-toe platforms.

Rebecca Taylor makes a statement with floral peep-toe wedges.

Shipley & Halmos kept things modern and classic with tunics, shorts and boyfriend-blazers, in an array of colors like black, blue, white and red.
