Welcome to a new edition to Jesenia’s Goodie Bag Find of the Week! This is where I display a few items from my Goodie Bag for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN: Singer/Actress Jennifer Lopez sang a song about it, Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw character loved them and so will you. Let’s start with the “IT” Bag: This shoulder bag will transition you perfectly from day to evening. You can wear it with your favorite trench, earth tones, solid tee, skinny jeans, basic skirts and dresses, pretty much anything, really. Every woman needs at least one python bag, even a clutch is fabulous.

Next on the list are a pair of timeless wedge sandals, these pairs are essential for Spring/Summer. You must own a pair or a few (in various colors). Take them to the beach, take them to the park, take them on a date, take them anywhere you like, they are so simple to dress up or down.

You’ve probably seen these booties before and if you haven’t, take a closer look. Sport them with muted tones, solids, earth tones, skinny jeans, leather, all types of sweaters, dress shorts, even skirts (in good taste). If there’s anything we’ve learned from designer Roberto Cavalli is that animal print is here to stay.

BALMAIN: The late designer, Gianni Versace, spent a fortune collecting Baroque furniture to adorn his mansion in Miami, Florida. And what’s not to love about that era? The paintings, the sculptures, the architect. It was all so brilliant. Now Balmain has brought us back in time with an inspired jacket. This double-breasted jacket is perfect for casual Friday’s at the office, a relaxing weekend or even a party. Dress it up with all-black and towering shoes. Wear it down with jeans, a cotton tee (preferably in a dark hue) and your choice of knee boots, booties or pointed-toe flats and even moccasins… if you dare.

L’AGENCE: We may not all listen to Rock n’ Roll, but we can’t deny the pull it has on fashion. Silver hardware (like spikes and studs), leather, cut-off jeans, platform booties, iconic tees with logos from AC/DC, KISS, Sex Pistols, and well, you get the point… This embellished wool sweater is a must-have. Try this number with leather shorts or pants, skinny jeans, denim mini (with the torn fringe), your favorite canvas Chuck Taylors (or similar canvas footwear), knee boots, booties, pointed-toe flats, pile on the silver rings in various sizes, throw a leather jacket to your arsenal, turn a preppy skirt into rocker-chic, the possibilities refuse to stop!
