PEARL NAIDOO

South African native Pearl Naidoo entered the fashion world with no formal training in jewelry design, thus able to offer clients a collection of unbiased shoes and accessories. Her introduction of ladies shoes kicked off with a pair of breathtaking black Swarovski heeled booties, followed by Baroque-inspired jewel heeled suede round-toe pumps. One model emerged drenched in gems, from a cascading teardrop necklace, to stacks of bracelets and a two-finger cocktail ring. Elegant hair buns decorated in precious baubles, from hair-pins to engraved metal elastic bands and diamond accented earrings. Equally stunning were the careful selection of handmade dresses. Men’s necklines roared in Tiger’s eye, gold metal and dangling diamond chockers, their wrists gleamed in everything from stacked organic beads, precious stones, gems, coin charms and studded leather cuffs. Additional accessories included a coin-style chain belt.

The Pearl Naidoo man or woman will take pride in the notion that more is more by piling on contrasting necklaces and bracelets. Regardless of hairstyle or hair type, the Pearl Naidoo woman will raise her head confidently in a Pearl Naidoo hair accessory.

MARLENE HAUTE COUTURE

Putting the Haute in Couture was designer Marlene. Armed with Serket Jewelry, Marlene reveled in a succession of bold reds, heavenly golds, deliciously daring blacks and timeless monochrome. The first runner-up, a Japanese red silk dress, gathered floral bust with dangling oyster-pearl accents, topped with a red twined beaded necklace. Golden delights shimmered under bright lights with intricate beading and jewelry embroidery, sheer and satin fabric, cut in classic strapless and cap sleeve with mermaid trains. Complimentary earrings in floral, teardrop and precious-stone, stacked and twined colored pearl chockers, and an impeccable pearl cuff. From long to short, one strap and sleeveless, dresses were covered in gold embellishment on tulle fabric over red satin, with winged or flowing skirt-tails.

Dangling glass earrings with floral detail, colors in red with gold or tinted pearls. Beaded twined pearl chockers continued to grace the runway. Other refreshing options included a gold engraved cuff. With all the wicked charm Ravenna (from Snow White and the Huntsman) possessed, models emerged in dangerously astronomical works of art.

A deep-sea ocean favorite was a black sheer dress with floral buds, silver sequins and ruby decor with beaded and metallic fringe, perfectly married with a massive fire-red coral reef necklace. More colossal choices came in satin and tulle, jeweled fronts, chunky stacked onyx bracelets, and a Lady Gaga worthy feathered neck-piece with stacked chunky-stone chockers, jeweled and sequins sheer top with tulle skirt-train.

Marlene revamped Menswear by manipulating fabric and incorporating modern style to the iconic Black & White theme of collared button shirts, blazers and trousers, with handsome accessories. A Marlene Haute Couture client is assertive with a voracious taste for perfection. If you want to leave spectators breathless, suit yourself in Marlene Haute Couture.
