Details Magazine hosted a special night with Marc by Marc Jacobs for a Hawaiian Luau Summer kickoff. Menswear bloomed with intense colors, floral, electric greenish-yellow denim, two-toned and striped shirts in the same magnetic hue with navy blue or pale gray, moss-green with ivory gingham button-down cuffed shirts and blazers in crimson red or navy blue.
Guests were entertained with a surf simulator, riding tropical virtual waves to groovin’ chill-out music, and a Design Your Own MMJ Button station dispersing featured fabric from the menswear collection. A portion of the sales went to aid the Ali Forney Center, an organization providing NYC LGBT homeless youth with support, nourishment and a safe, homelike environment.
