Native New Yorker, Emily Saunders, inspired by 16th century British fashion, uses modern silhouettes to channel King Henry The Eighth’s Tudor Dynasty. A mix of richly textured Anglican fabrics in earth tone colors, fashioned with precious metal, minerals and pearls, showcased in tartan & tweed with juxtaposition feminine & masculine styles. The collection displayed Saunders’ ability to translate period themes into clothes women will not only wear, but cherish.
