Epson opened New York Fashion Week with their 4th annual fashion show presentation, featuring cosmopolitan themed capsule collections from North & Latin American designers. Using Epson’s world-class dye-sublimation printing technology designers concocted signature styles, while detailing distinct cultural accents to each wardrobe piece.

Alexandra Pizzigoni x Patricia Franklin for Thomas Jefferson University (Philadelphia)

The design students at Jefferson Uni presented fluorescent abstract patterns in creatively crafted layered styles.

Ana María Guiulfo (Peru)

Using Peruvian inspired textiles, Ana Maria Guiulfo breathed life into ruffled dresses, reinvented the trench with a drape feature, incorporated richly colored satin waist wraps, and made headlines with an aquatic themed pantsuit, paired exquisitely with a yarn-woven hand-beaded clutch handbag.

Candice Cuoco (Los Angeles)

The Gothic elegance of a Trent Reznor music video, Cuoco tapped into Victorian fashion with a quadruple belted floral dress, an embossed metal corset, sleek leather gloves, and a Kentucky derby hat draped in a tulle veil, with tiered garments and tulle petticoat. Reoccurring theme included belled sleeves. Modern touches popped with a self-portrait graphic print, wide brim hat, zippered leather crop top and two-toned striped pants.

Eduardo Figueroa (Guatemala)

Eduardo Figueroa’s angel tears are captivating in a trio color palette of powered blue, royal purple and sand.

Emilio Mata celebrates Mexican heritage, featuring a traditional floral/lace combo dress. Dazzling favorites included a geometric pleated corset with tassel detail and matching skirt, and a call to nature with a monarch butterfly wrap dress belted with a satin corset.

Fernando Alberto takes us to church. His cathedral inspired collection featured gold, diamonds and a plunging neckline, loosely fit trousers, Baroque styled pant suit adorned with chain belt hemlines, and neck-tie halter dress cinched with a wide leather belt.

Hayley Elsaesser’s psychedelic sci-fi collection invoked 90’s inspired pop art fashion.

Ilse Jara (Paraguay)

Ilse Jara featured deeply poetic avant-garde pieces with elaborate accents, fluid floral detail and a magnificent deep-sea coral.
