Luxury resort wear SANGUEL graced the runway at New York fashion week with a sensational collection. The Parisian born brand delivered a wardrobe of jet set essentials. Designer Sanguel Katak began tantalizing guests with hair and makeup, as models emerged showcasing chocolate smoky eyes, contoured rosy-bronzed cheeks, a red matte lip and bob cut hairstyle. Quintessential accessories included chandelier and dangling earrings, paired with metallic gold clutch bags, and a bevy of shoe styles in nude, gold and black, with single band, buckle-strap ankle and peep-toe heels. Classic color palette featured precious metal, pops of multi-color, crystal hues and black-white patterns. Fitted swimsuits were fashioned in metallic fabric, peekaboo cutouts, a splash of chiffon and coupled with mini satin kimonos. Seventies influences included a multi-colored zigzag pattern jumpsuit. Sheer dresses hugged and swayed, baring deep plunges, side splits, drawstring fronts, cutout, open and crossed strap back. Menswear made a brief appearance, exhibiting lax loungewear.
