The temperature factor in NYC is “Brrr!” Needless to say, while New Yorkers are shoveling snow from their driveway, we are sailing away on a luxury cruise ship (courtesy of Resort 2011). We will be docking at 5 destinations in the Mediterranean.
But first things first! Before boarding, make sure your luggage is equip with these wardrobe staples: a graphic cami (spruces up any jacket or trouser assemble), a pair of woven espadrilles (can be effortlessly paired with anything you wear), a cargo tunic (worn by itself or with bottoms, is a great investment because it’s comfy yet chic), a chunky bib necklace (to elevate the look of a plain top or add flare to a suit), a navy blazer-jacket with distressed gold buttons (perfect for sailing, it’s the best alternative to a sweater when a cool breeze comes in), and a neck scarf (to ward off a chill or to add style to your apparel).

Upon boarding, make sure your look is set for sailing. Milly paired the essential navy blazer-jacket with a striped tank, stacked gold chain and wide-leg trousers. Actress Jennifer Aniston keeps the navy blazer-jacket low key with aviator shades, a simple necklace, taupe tank, leather belt and jeans. Yigal Azrouel brings an alternative with a cropped shorts suit that can easily be worn with leather clogs or kitten heeled strappies.

FIRST STOP > SPAIN:
RUNNING WITH THE BULLS: Let’s begin our adventure with some thrills. Sip some sangria, at the celebration in Pamplona, as you watch locals run with the bulls. Acne takes it to the streets with a brimmed hat, muted jacket and matching shorts and wedged booties.

ENJOY SOME TAPAS: Grab a seat at the bar and snack on Spain’s most delish appetizers while you luxuriate in MaxMara. Accept a dance from the bar hottie in Elise Overland.

BREAK NIGHT AT THE LOCAL VILLAGE FIESTA: Okay, so we had one too many cervezas. No need to panic, just keep your punch-drunk eyes discretely under dark sunglasses. This flowy maxi dress from Milly offers a lot of leg room for some serious dancing.

DO THE FLAMENCO: There’s no reason why you can’t look the part of a dancer while tapping your feet to the rhythm of the guitar. Monique Lhuiller guarantees their lace number will beguile the locals into thinking you’re a native Spaniard.

FOOTBALL? GOOOAL!: Oh.. my… G! Is that Ronaldo Cristiano practicing on the field? Yes! It is! Hair in place? Check. Makeup done? Check. Camera at hand? Check. But wait, the outfit– Matthew Williamson saves the day with a pointed blazer-jacket, printed bellowy top and very sexy biker jeans. In a number like that, Cristiano will have to succumb to a date in exchange for his soccer ball.

STROLL ALONG LAS RAMBLAS: In need of some cool souvenirs or just want to play the shopping game? Well, look no further. Monique Lhuiller can take you from the cafe to the shops and much more with Jackie-O inspired sunglasses, an ultra-fem tweed suit, flirty v-cut blouse and comfy kitten-heel anklet sandals. So go ahead, shop… if you dare.

SECOND STOP> IBIZA:
Soak up the sun in an earth-tone tie-dye tunic with a striped canvas beach bag and toss in a sheer black sweater for when the weather dives at sunset.

THIRD STOP > CROATIA:
Croatia is home to some of the world’s amazing fortresses and Matthew Williamson makes it easy to enjoy a day of tourism with a light jacket, bright cotton tee and a floral skirt.

Simply unwind in Hvar’s chic lounges in Dsquared. The tweed jacket is paired with a muted top, thin leather belt, skinny jeans and some eye-popping strappies.

Hvar Town’s pebble beach is the place to be and be seen, so you’ll want to wow the crowd, but not in something fussy. Dsquared is surprisingly festive in a citrus jacket, v-cut tee, ivory khaki shorts and leather-strap heels.

Nature has it’s way of tranquilizing the mind and soul. While immersing yourself into a scenic view, keep your body free in a number by Dsquared. A light jacket goes a long way with a cotton shirt, ivory shorts and leather sandals.

FOURTH STOP > GREECE:
Legends, mythical creatures and remnants of an ancient empire, all in a day’s worth of sightseeing in Greece. Channel your inner goddess in MaxMara (a mustard Grecian dress and brown supple leather accessories.)

In the mood for some fresh lobster or other seafood delight? Pull back a chair at a seaside restaurant and order some of the freshest food on earth. MaxMara will keep you looking crisp in a gray jacket, ivory trousers and dark khaki pumps.

There’s nothing better then a good cup of fine red wine. Just be careful not to spill a drop on Monique Lhuillier, the white assemble is not only captivating but perfect for time well spent in the marina.

FINAL STOP > TURKEY:
Enjoy a little cultural spectacle in this delightful whirling dance. Dsquared pulls-off a low-key presentation, so you don’t accidentally steal the show, but nevertheless look effortlessly fabulous in a head-scarf, over-sized sunglasses, shift dress and open-toe booties.

Take a tour around the vast grounds of Topkapi Place, the high-rise chambers, the courtyards and the Treasury… Pssst! Don’t forget the Harem. Max Azria is so cozy, you’ll want to wear it in your sleep. A tasteful off-the shoulder knit, loose rolled-up taupe trousers and heeled sandal-booties.

Be whisked away in a lake-side boat-ride in Max Azria. The devilishly subtle ivory dress and dark leather accents are very appropriate for sunshine and aquatic bliss.
