The universally fitting AG Jeans Collection includes denim favorites and classic terry, knits & jerseys, from off-the-shoulder, chambray and shirt-dresses, to shirt-jackets, sweater-shirts & boyfriend tee’s, overalls, cutoff shorts & buttoned mini-skirts, and your choice of skinny or boyfriend jeans.

Alexa tells Bevan her inspiration for the collection came from her obsessive quest to find the perfect pair of “dream jeans.” The concept for the 21-piece collection was purely derived from items missing from her closet. A lover of all things vintage, Alexa’s collection is undoubtedly vintage-inspired. When asked to name her favorite pieces from the collection, Chung sheepishly admits the Pixie – Lightsome shirtdress and Revolution boyfriend jeans.

The design process consisted of creating a collection that is nostalgically appealing, comfy and durable. Alexa jokingly lists Britney Spears & Justin Timberlake in their 2001 denim duo outfit as her denim icons, stating they were iconic enough for Katy Perry to emulate them at the 2014 VMAs. Bevan asks Chung to reveal her off-duty style, to which she responds, “I pretty much wear what I want. I like skinny, comfy jeans, ones I can wear-in.” When pressed to share tidbits from her future Fall 2015 collection for AG Jeans, she hints a Gang Girl theme, ode to the West Coast 90’s Chola.

In the middle of the room stood a mini basketball court that Alexa explains was inspired by watching a guy at a sports bar dunk some hoops and thought it would be a great idea to dunk some hoops with her fans. One by one Alexa Chung devotees joined Alexa in a game of throws, while others posed for selfies.
