Beauty Edition/ Spring 2011: Fresh Faces (Page 4 of 5)

Fashion has taken a turn to embrace our God-given face. Six notable designers have opted to go natural. Christopher Kane rimmed top lash lines with espresso eyeliner, followed by a translucent champagne base color over tear-ducts. Top lashes were moderately coated, cheeks slightly flushed and lips dabbed in balm.

At Dolce & Gabbana eyes were also subtle. Easy on black liner, champagne-taupe mix on lids, dewy complexion, delicate cheek tint and lips in flesh-tone and rosy.

Missoni kept eyes rimmed in black liner, followed by smokey charcoal shadow, cheek tones were warm, lip hue in nude.

Preen elected for brighter. Inner eyes shimmer in frost, fanning out a streak of smokey taupe. Lashes elongated, barely bronzed cheeks and a rich beige chestnut-infused lip pigment.

Stella McCartney emphasized bare faces; featherweight mascara, semi-pinkish cheeks and sheer lips.

Versace also formulated a dewy look. Faint taupe hue traced around the eyes, minimal dose of pinkish-red on apples of cheeks and glossy lip balm.
