Jesenia’s Goodie Bag of the Week: Lipsticks, Turbans, Shoes and Skirts

VOGUE Magazine (July 2011 edition) (Emma Watson)

MAC Cosmetics (Lipstick: DIVA)

July 2011, Actress Emma Watson graced the cover of VOGUE Magazine, her lips enriched in a deep Gothic reddish-burgundy color. In my quest to recreate this very look, I sought the help of the experts at MAC Cosmetics and came across “DIVA” lipstick (a highly pigmented purplish-red hue.)

Salma Hayek (Actress)
Giorgio Armani (Spring 2011) (Turband)
Jennifer Behr (Spiked Turban headband)
TopShop (Spikey Stud Headband)

Being married to retail mogul Francois Pinault has definitely rubbed off on actress Salma Hayek, who is reaching new fashion heights sporting a turban, very reminiscent of Giorgio Armani Spring 2011.  Thankfully Jennifer Behr took notice and created her own turbans (one in silk, the other spike-studded.) TopShop soon followed with a spiked headband.

Giuseppe Zanotti (Stingray-effect leather T-Bar Sandals)

Stingrays are predominately good-nature with a curiosity for sea life. Giuseppe Zanotti understands the appeal of exotic skin and translates it very well in the form of a sandal.

Salvatore Ferragamo

These adorable Mosaic flats from Salvatore Ferragamo are extremely functional, good for work, party or play.

Matthew Williamson

Matthew Williamson (Accordion-pleated wool mini skirt) has the right combination of detail and color. Patterns so relative, they flow effortlessly into any season. Wear with a graphic black-n-white tee, open-toe booties and tousled hair for Spring/Summer. Opt for a black knitted sweater, skull necklace, silver stacked bracelets, opaque tights and black ankle boots for Fall/Winter.
