Designer to the stars, Monique Lhuillier, showcased a fall fashion collection oozing with supermodel glamour. Like a dance scene out of the 1983 cult classic Scarface movie, Elvira Hancock prototypes appeared one by one with deep side parted, bone straight hairstyles, some pulled back styles, and smoky, kohl lined eyes, bronzed contoured cheeks, and floral petal hued lips, while short, manicured nails (holding mini clutch bags) featured bluish-green metallic nail polish.
Shimmering metallic and lace dresses & gowns in gold, gun-smoke and ebony color palate with plunging necklines, cut out and thigh splits, in bodice, form-fitting, spaghetti strap and one-shoulder styles. Floral designs included Jacquard fabric with lace overlay. Other fluid gowns came in loosely draped mustard-gold tones, some featuring high neck lines, star print or dotted embroidery in sheer teal and red wine textile. Outerwear included a 2-button floral, blue, long, Jacquard jacket with high neck dotted bodysuit underlay, and charcoal boyfriend blazer.
Elegant shoe variations ranged from pointed to ankle-strap and peep-toe heels, and exceptional, caged, t-strap booties.
