Jessica Martin of Nippy Lavern Fashions cooked up a medley of Rastafarian rebel cool meets lady elegance with a touch of punk rock. Introductory pieces came in army-fatigue theme; a rich red, studded, off-the-shoulder marine wool sweater with heart patch and acid-wash jeans, followed by a pant-less bodysuit fitted model with floral, gold and pearl brooch accessory cluster. A Rihanna-worthy ivory and military patterned bra top with tassel, pearl, gold hardware and stud ornaments with a metallic mini skirt, and a jewel and floral gold-embroidered shift dress. Toughen these looks with a cropped denim jacket, skinny leather motorcycle pants and combat boots.
The sleek refinement of satin indulged our sense with a solid-front camisole and wildly printed silk train, preceded by a reptile and floral sleeveless dress. Alternative pairing would include a cropped motorcycle jacket, harem pants and a pair of leather open-toe booties. Sequin fabric cut in both risqué and classic style; an emerald and gold with leather back-less mini dress, and a black one-sleeve full length version. For a completely distinguished approach, try a tuxedo jacket, skinny trousers and pointed leather heels.
Badass leather rocked the house in a one-sleeve with sheer train dress, and a jeweled shouldered jacket with burgundy fur sleeves. With the dress, add a metallic jacket and studded heels, and for the leather-fur jacket, a draped jersey dress, opaque tights and heeled ankle boots.
Nippy Lavern Fashions is unapologetically expressive and easy to wear, the perfect combination for any wardrobe.
