Date: December 3. Venue: Bloomingdale’s – 59th Street
An evening of graffiti art and party-rockin’ mash-ups served by mix master DJ J.Dayz, as ELLE magazine hosts a Fall fashion show presentation for DNKY. Like a live taping of QVC, ELLE Senior Market Editor Jade Frampton and DKNY Sales Peggy Kitsch presented each model with descriptive detail.
Asymmetrical and color-block dresses sashayed the runway in universal black, winter white and heavenly blue.
Interesting twin-sets came in bolder violet, metallic and cobalt blues.
Layered looks with loose trousers in festive emerald-green and a trend-setting metallic jogger pant.
Statement outerwear burst into the scene in a quilted silver vest, tweed-leather trim jacket, asymmetrical wool & shearling coat.
Resort 2014 made a sneak preview in a burnt orange draped blouse paired with loose white trousers. Preferred DKNY Customers made an impromptu appearance as models on the runway.
DKNY visual merchandising displayed mannequins in Jacquard blouses, metallic bomber jackets, graffiti inspired moto jackets & dresses, and shearling vests.
Jade Frampton tells Jesenia’s Goodie Bag her favorite DKNY fashion piece is hands-down her very own white embroidered dress, as Peggy attributes the Holiday wrap-scarf as her personal pick.
Customized airbrushed totes for DKNY clients designed by TopGun AirBrush.
The December issue of ELLE exhibits a multitude of glamour with Rocker Chic, Color-Blocking and All-White ensembles, future Spring 2014 Alexander Wang, and Resort 2014 styles. Accessory choices thrive in chunky metal cuffs, colorful leather bold-face Dolce & Gabbana watches and an obsessively brilliant Maison Martin Margiela Swarovski-crystal, stainless-steel ring. Defining beauty is makeup guru Pat McGrath as she teaches us mortals the art to a picture-perfect face.
