Adrian Alicea is artfully seductive. His animalistic winter solstice collection reels us in with an infectious fascination, like dawn peering through an arctic horizon.

From a Dutchman’s pipe vine backdrop came sheer flowing gowns adorned with body jewelry, and plush, fur handbags. Adrian’s signature leather-studded hat-masks remained a dominate presence throughout the collection.

Audaciously creative two-toned fur-trimmed blazers, with fur collared cardigans pairing majestically over draped kilts.

Mongolian coats accessorized with matching hats married nicely over woven-tufted, velvet-fitted tops and bottoms.

Hooded draped cardigans, fur jackets, mink vests, tweed trench coats and plaid ponchos harmonized perfectly with splashes of sheer, velvet tartan and lace fabric.

Designer Adrian Alicea tells Jesenia’s Goodie Bag Winter Sun derived from Victorian influence and the great outdoors. Creatures of mystique (wolves and crows) came to life under a wonderfully executed 19th century aristocratic guise.
