Date: August 8. Venue: Line & Label (Greenpoint- Brooklyn, NY)

The Floss Gloss girls teamed up with boutique owner, Kate O’Riley of Line & Label, for an evening of tailor-made fashion, bespoke manicures and amusing Palmistry.

From hand-crafted dream catchers, to one-of-a-kind gemstone jewelry and an exclusive ready-to-wear collection, these are some of the things to expect from Line & Label. Kate O-Riley tells Jesenia’s Goodie Bag her entire stock is made in New York. With an in-store studio, Kate custom-creates many of the in-house fashion and accessory pieces, and only showcases vendors with like-minded aesthetics.

Line & Label celebrated their first anniversary on July 2014 and continue to be well-received from the artsy community.

Floss Gloss nail station remained in full-effect, as guests made a bee-line for their one-on-one session with nail artist Monica Kim Garza. Guests walked away with manicured hands resembling the likeness of Vanity Projects quality nails.

The complete Summer Collection of Floss Gloss was up for grabs in glittered Honey, cranberry Picnic and warm cream Biscuits, as well as other popular lacquers in Lean (electric purple), Dinge (dirty pink) and Three 6 Mafia’s Gangsta Boo (devilish red).

Floss Gloss co-founder Aretha Sack tells JBG Editor she and Janine have completed shooting their Fall/Winter Lookbook and are excited to introduce three new colors, one of them being Mrs. Tony Montana (an intense white) inspired by the white skirt suit Michelle Pfeiffer’s character wore in the 1983 film Scarface.

Guests also enjoyed fortune-telling and palm reading by Screwball Diva, Miss Darcey Leonard.
