Date: September 13. Venue: Bloomingdale’s 59th Street – 4th Floor
Jeremy Scott joins Bloomingdale’s for the unveiling of his Pop-Up Shop, featuring pieces from his Fall/Winter 2016 collection. Ready-To-Wear included graphic t-shirts, cable knit and mohair crop top sweaters in hot pink and multi-color. Skirt styles were fun and daring in denim fabric with pink and lime green accents, leather with studding and fringe detail, and psychedelic dotted printing. 90’s nostalgic dresses with the return of Ren & Stimpy cartoon print, color-blocking denim jumpsuits, and sky blue Spanish guitar mock turtleneck knit dress. Outerwear was both cool and chic with studded leather motorcycle jackets, Mongolian fur coats and cropped color-blocking denim jackets. Vintage inspired tote bags featured 40’s styled Pip Up Girls in hot pink and baby blue, and guitar motif backpack.
Also trending at the pop-up shop was Jeremy Scott’s book entitled Jeremy Scott, which follows the designer’s career, from working with music icons like Bjork, Madonna and Rihanna, to showcasing at both Paris and New York Fashion week, his widely popular Jeremy Scott for Adidas winged high-top sneakers, and toy themed fashion collections for Moschino.
Deejaying the event was model Soo Joo Park, while Jeremy posed for selfies and signed autographs.
