Dividing her time between painting and designing, Alexandra Popsecu-York pulls inspiration from tradition and imagination. Like a scene from Fifty Shades Darker, the collection exuded mystery, luxury and sensuality. Hairstyles featured slick back high ponytails with towering metal hair cuffs, while makeup showcased glass skin coupled with black matte lips, and eyes hidden under lace masquerade masks.

An alluring color palette of shimmering blacks, popping reds, spellbinding corals and hypnotic blues. Satin and metallic jackets dazzled with bejeweled button closure and ornamental jacket accents in spiked, studding and metallic fringe, paired with diamond bras. Captivating gowns, sheer and Swarovski styled, reflective fabric, hints of holographic blue underlay, fashioned in bateau, halter, empire waist with metallic encrusted embroidery, and plunging necklines, with fringe, netted and floral applique. Peacock patterns emerged with jeweled fronts, side cutouts and glass beading. Provocative elements included open back, back slits and zip detail.
