Date: Saturday, February 8th Venue: Angel Orensanz Foundation
Stada Boutique presented a debutante inspired collection of ballroom gowns, cocktail dresses and suits for teens and kids. Girls hairstyles featured side braiding with a coiled bun up-do, adorned with jewel headbands, tiaras, and medieval serpentine headdress, coupled with an array of dangling, hooped, studded, clustered and drop earrings.
Victorian influenced ball gowns were elaborately tiered and feathered with sheer overlay, frilled, netted, and pleat, with sparkling, holographic and jeweled motif, thinly veiled backsides, zip detail, and a flowing train of ruffled silk organza and chiffon in a refreshing color palette of whisper-pink, pastel mint, delicate peach, lavender, citrine, and classic white, black and gold.
Fanciful mini dresses emerged with dissimilar sleeves, semi-sheer fabric with floral hardware and jewel applique, accented with frill, plume, and layers of organza and tulle, in corset and cinched waist form. High fashion dress suits turned heads in double-breasted, squared-off design, peekaboo sleeves, pearl beading, ruffling, and ostrich feathering, paired with matching dress shorts. Neutral and metallic flats and heels showcased in t-strap, ankle strap, and decorative jewel fronts.
Debonair boy’s suits trended in soft mint and rose gold; single-button blazers with wide lapels, flap pockets and single vents, paired with button-up shirts, tuxedo bow ties, matching short slacks and white canvas shoes.
