Sonia Garbarino Atelier presented a black tie collection for fashion week. Models featured classic hairstyles, from wavy hair with middle parts to high pony tails with some braiding, and slick back buns, coupled with minimalist makeup.
We loved how body suits featured gold hardware, delicate camisole juxtaposed over leather textile, tank tops fashioned with flounce sleeve blouses and corset overlay. Bottoms showcased in dress shorts, leather and tulle skirts, and knit leggings. An assorted use of accessories, from visor hats to gold dangling earrings with matching necklaces, opera gloves, and strap heels. An impressive take on dresses, a satin bandeau look with sparkled mesh, feathered accents and a side split. Baby doll designs included a ruffled frock. Hybrid attire surfaced in bodysuits paired with sheer material and train backs, open front dress skirts with peekaboo sequin shorts. Figure friendly cape dresses emerged, some sequin, and satin with feathering. Dress tops flaunted plunging fronts. Bespoke detail in striking embellished applique, from jewel to beading and metallic over nude and draped lustrous fabric. A showstopping patent leather quilted dress with zip detail and a flair skirt completed the show.
