Colorful Nail Polish and Eye-Popping Eyeshadow

The Magic of DIOR: Looking for a Spring/Summer polish? Or perhaps an investment in a classic color? Dior concocted a total of five impressive bottles of lacquer for us to try.

DIOR (Trafalgar)
Kate Bosworth (Actress)
PRADA (Spring 2010) (Model: Sophie Srej)

DIOR VERNIS (Trafalgar): Red-Orange continues to make headlines, (shown here on actress Kate Bosworth.) A color so addictive, it dates back to Prada’s Spring 2010 show, where makeup guru Pat McGrath worked her magic painting models backstage. Trafalgar is that essential lacquer to use when you want to make a statement without saying a word.

DIOR (Gurau)
Red Rose
VALENTINO (Red Dress)

DIOR VERNIS (Gurau): Classic as a rose, iconic like a Valentino dress, this vivid red is one powerful seducer.

DIOR (Icone)

DIOR VERNIS (Icone): There’s something utterly compelling about a woman wearing a rich burgundy-red nail lacquer, perfect for evenings and transitions well into Fall/Winter season.

DIOR (Rock Coat)

DIOR VERNIS (Rock Coat): Who has time for two manicures a day? Rock Coat allows you to take your daytime colors and veil them with an evening look from one stroke of a brush.

DIOR (Saint Tropez)
CHANEL Les Vernis (Nouvelle Vague)
Beyonce (Music Video: Why Don’t You Love Me)
St. Tropez (South of France)

DIOR VERNIS (Saint Tropez): During the Summer of 2010, Chanel introduced Nouvelle Vague, a turquoise nail polish which singer Beyonce used in her music video “Why Don’t You Love Me.” Soon after the video aired, Nouvelle Vague flew off department store shelves, becoming yet another record-breaking hit for Chanel. In an effort to rekindle a similar spark, Dior created their own turquoise nail color named after the most sought after beach in the South of France.

Dolce & Gabbana (Passione)
CHANEL Les Vernis (Paradoxal)

DOLCE & GABBANA (Passione) (Nail Lacquer): Released for Fall 2010 but available during the Summer of that year was Chanel‘s Paradoxal, a lovely greige-purple polish. With the collaboration of Pat McGrath comes a new and improved twist, Passione (a dirty-pink mauve color for Summer 2011.)

Makeup Forever (Scarlett 99)
Christian Dior (Spring 2011) (Model: Kahnovich)
(Model: Constance Jablonski) (VOGUE Germany)

MAKEUP FOREVER (Matte Eyeshadow) (Scarlett 99): Christian Dior channeled our childhood with an array of candy-colors for Spring 2011’s beauty line. Then model Constance Jablonski graced the cover of VOGUE Germany wearing an intense red hue by none other than Makeup Forever, who continues to bring glamor-mag presence with their show-stopping red.
