(Reminisce) Helmut Lang (Pre-Fall 2011): The minimalist look defines Helmut Lang, standing as living proof that less is definitely more. Draped dresses in olive and taupe are effortlessly enticing. A collarless leather jacket adds a rebel touch to a long dress. Sleeveless black and blackened-gold bellowy blouses render a relax feel. A light-gray suede zipper-jacket downplays a sponge-painted dress and a vibrant ivory cap-sleeve tunic dress looms remarkably, while leather ankle boots provoke a hard-edge to the softness of draped fabric.

(Current) Helmut Lang (Fall 2011): Muted light-gray dresses cloaked in tough-girl shearling variations. A collarless zip-up jacket neutralizes a long dress. The cowl-neck look is irresistible on a plush shearling vest and wool coat. Black ankle boots remain a wardrobe staple for two seasons in a row.

(Just In) Helmut Lang (Resort 2012): The classic collarless leather jacket survives a third season at Helmut Lang. Winged tank dress is very easy-going; fancy it up with a blazer, pointed leather heels and a patent clutch or keep it casual in a cropped perforated jacket, skinny leather jeggings, leather ankle boots, armor ring and spiked bracelet. Feathered cap-sleeve draped dress beckons for a night out. One-button pointed-collar jacket and dress pants are just as amazing together as they are apart; the jacket polishes draped jerseys, colored jeans and ankle wedges, while the dress pants mix perfectly with draped racer-back tanks, long cardigans, lace-up booties and a glazed calfskin flap bag (with chain and shoulder strap) from Chanel. Black ankle-strap sandals continually play-out in this collection as the best shoe accessory.

(The Future) Helmut Lang (Spring 2012): Iconic draped blazers, tanks and dresses with loose trousers and latex leggings. Leather open-toe ankle boots spring into action in nude-gray and black.
