Season: New York Fashion Week – Spring/Summer 2016
Vivienne Tam presents a gender neutral collection inspired by art deco in an oceanic palette of salmon, sea green, and earth tones in lime, mint green, poppy red, blush and monochrome. Relaxed silhouettes include drop waist styles, techno-mesh layered with hand-crafted embroideries, masculine shapes with feminine elements, menswear striped shirting, and dresses softened with ruffled sleeves and hems. Prominent pieces included unisex jumpsuits, oversized shirts featuring appliques, striped ribbing at the collar, laser-cut appliques, floral and dragon motif, and bomber jackets.
