Date: June 14.
Venue: Trina Turk – 67 Gansevoort Street
Trina Turk leaves sunny Cali for a fashion cocktail party at her swanky NYC Meatpacking District boutique. Guests enjoyed Bellini as they browsed her summer collection. Trina tells Jesenia’s Goodie Bag her collection inspiration is 1 part 1969 summer love and 2 part Istanbul. An intense color palette of lime greens, vibrant reds, fuchsias and royal blues, neutral creams, pure whites and precious antique golds. Turk looked impeccable in her signature Joceline Dress, a floral, boho, v-neck tunic with dotted ikat trim detail, paired with a cruelty-free elephant tusk pendant and open toe leather mules.
Her fashion collection was nothing short of breathtaking, with statement dresses like the Lyyn Dress (eyelash lace in bold canary yellow), the Marisol Dress, a silk, bazaar print black and white drawstring maxi shirt dress, and array of denim dress styles. Stylish off duty shoes included pineapple espadrilles and two-toned, perforated, stacked heel boot sandals.
Trending in accessories were Turk’s beach essentials, like the Toulon Easy Tote (a vinyl, mosaic paisley print tote bag) with matching floppy, woven Shade Hat, and logo, canvas, pineapple print Bikini Bag. Varieties were plenty, with sleek earth tone aviator sunglasses, whimsical baubles and delightful floral mobile cases.
