Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blue Blood Palette : Jesenia's Goodie Bag

To celebrate Jeffree Star Cosmetics 5th year anniversary, Jeffree Star began a new blue season with the launch of Blue Blood Palette, an icy big sister to the Blood Sugar Palette. The most trending topic on social media is the Blue Blood Palette, JSC’s 6th vegan and cruelty free eyeshadow palette, inspired by a high-end casket and jewelry box, (think trust fund, a will, acquiring an estate). The box and pan is of equal size as the Blood Sugar Palette.

The eyeshadow palette arrived in a protective, soft matte wood-inspired zaffre blue box packaging. The makeup case itself is robin egg blue with the palette name and JSC logo in white, and matching hardware clasp. There’s 18 matte, metallic and pressed pigment shades inside, ranging from minty blues to baby blues, pastel blues and icy blues, neon blues and teals, and green blues, with pops of flesh toned transition shades. Eyeshadow embossment featured lip prints, diamonds, crowns, money bags and clouds. The palette price retails for $52.00 USD, which averages out to $2.85 USD per shade… and no JSC palette is complete without a JSC hand mirror, behold Blue Chrome!

Row 1: Cullinan is world’s most expensive diamond, a blinding icy white for an inner corner eye highlight or brow bone highlight. Mintea is a one swipe coverage matte mint hue. Crystal Flesh is a metallic champagne, perfect for a nose highlight. I’m Cold is a soft powdered blue. Untouchable is a soft peach pressed pigment, and Priceless, a nude macaroni color.

Row 2: Power, a bluish deep slate gray. Blue Blood is a deep powered blue. Deceased, a phrase coined by Jeffree Star, a metallic deep cyan blue. Ice Tray, a soft pale blue, which Jeffree Star used a lot for his Blue Blood ad campaign. Blue Monday is a vibrant zaffre matte blue pressed pigment, inspired by the song Blue Monday by the music group New Order, and Flourishing, a bright neon teal with a greenish blue undertone.

Row 3: Wealthy is a cream color, perfect for the brow bone. Celebrity skin is a soft matte brown transition shade. Entitled, a metallic teal with glitter reflect. Ocean Ice, a metallic sapphire pressed pigment. Cremated, a dark forest green with gray-blue undertone, and Undertaker, a deep midnight blue.
