For New York fashion week, Miss Universe Canada Amelia Tu showcased a Parisian inspired capsule collection. Diverse hair styles emerged, from straight to curly, even shaven hair looks. For makeup, eyes were semi smoky, coupled with cream blushed cheeks, and glossy lips. Head gear displayed classical pieces, a spotted headscarf, French berets, vintage floppy hats, and Spanish bolero hats.
Charming tops, blouses and sweaters flaunted oversize collars, ruffle and floral applique, pom pom detail, sprinkled with spots and dots, in a wearable black and white color palette with notes of pink and red. Universally flattering skirts featured in flannel, satin and tulle fabric in pleat looks, calf length, and floral needlework Equally imaginative bottoms, dress shorts with ruffled hemlines, oversize trousers and pants, fashioned with stripes and bows, cropped and spotted, and in velvet styles. Playful designs aplenty, including an eye-catching jumper with black three leaf shamrock clover motif, and button-front tartan tunic dress with oversize collar and pockets.
Jackets and outerwear continued in theme, oversize and fringed, floral and velvet, some teddy fleece, buttoned, zipped, and with satin lining, Completing each look, a delightful selection of shoes, strappy and patent platform sandals paired with and without socks, white oxfords tied with lace, flat and block heel ankle boots, and chunky sole lace up boots.
Menswear made a brief appearance in a spotted, unisex, hybrid shirt jacket (also known as a shacket), with skinny black jeans and suede loafers.
