Date: September 8th Venue: Gotham Hall
Willow Bean Studio introduced their newest collection for kids and teens at fashion week. The brand’s designer, Jennie Fear, is in the business of creating memorable moments. She believes garments are not just meant to be worn, they’re made to be experienced, with each tailor-made look telling its own story.
Young models rocked slick high ponytails, elaborate side hair clips, and fresh faces. A modern twist to classic jewelry included large pearl earrings, and layered gold necklaces juxtaposed with oversize pearl necklaces. The fashion line featured a dominate color palette of black and gold.
We loved the array of top styles, bustier looks and crop top types, bejeweled necklines, graphic prints, sheer layering shrugs and turtleneck underlay, short and netted sleeves, and mesh fingerless opera gloves, followed by lace, nylon and tiered skirts. Jogger pants fashioned in leather and satin with decorative pockets, belted with gold and pearl chains. Dresses emerged in bra top cuts, lace trimming, motif designs, ornamental accents, and puff skirt looks. Guys fashion made a brief appearance in a solid collared shirt with patterned cuffs, belted denim pants embellished with safety pins, and low top sneakers.
