Engineer turned Designer, Sylvia Lee, is living her dream of creating sensual ethereal couture. Driven by utter passion, she creates some of the most alluring made-to-order designer pieces. Winner of both the Flair Awards and Styled Awards for Designer of the Year, including ties with Diane Von Furstenberg, and an evening dress designer to Scherri-Lee Biggs, Winner of 2011 Miss Universe Australia.

In the heart of Times Square (from The Sky Room Rooftop Lounge), a throng of guests waited eagerly for Sylvia Lee’s event to begin. It was an intimate collection, composed of ten outfits in amazing pale greys and pinks, crème, and bolder hues in blue, red, plum and black.
The first number was a soft pink bodice dress, followed by a cropped two-toned, zippered collared jacket in a bluish pink/royal blue combo, paired with a draped skirt.
A minimalist version of Herve Leger fashion included a sapphire blue bandage- nude beige strap dress. More drapery were shown in misty grey. There were unique shades; a greige-pink belted pleated halter dress and a richer plum/black zippered shift dress.
The spirit of Valentino shined in a ruby-red one-sleeve. A romantically themed delicate pink ruffled, high-collared halter-bodice blouse combined with a draped skirt. Another Herve Leger dress-type came in navy-blue bandage over sky-blue.

And last to grace the runway was the famously worn 2011 Miss Universe Australia gown, impeccably embroidered on a sheer crème fabric.
