Tadashi Shoji reminisces on childhood fantasies with an imaginatively brilliant interpretation of fairytale sylphs.

Like pubescent girls, model’s faces gleamed with perfectly dewy skin, eyelashes coated with shimmering gold mascara, flushed cheeks, lip balm moisten lips, and a slick side-part blowout. Accessories were minimal, limiting to a pair of gold dagger earrings.

Cocktail dresses and floor-length gowns flowed with ease in exquisitely colored fabrics. A delightful collection of organic ivory laser-cut mesh-lined dresses and metal embroidered pleat halter gowns with botanic accents. Swarthy window-blind tube top styled grapevine décor and tulle feathered ball skirt gowns, topical motif two-toned black/white dresses, and nude lace with onyx tribal printed gowns.

Glamorous featherweight tulle column gowns showcased in carefully chosen baroque and jacquard fabric, with black, gold and plum metallic embellishments, some with sheer necklines. A show-stopping number included a sheer black, feathered, cinched-waist buckle dress.

Like a custom-fit shoe, models walked in ebony heeled ankle-strap sandals.
