World traveled Rutuparna believes fashion is a lifestyle, not a luxury. As diverse as his conceptual aesthetic, the Rutu Bhonslé collection for kids and youth was individualistic, full of character and grace.
Tops and blouses featured diamond print, apricot and mint shades, modern art themes, detailed hemlines, neck-ties, tie-fronts, bell sleeves, cropping, semi sheer fabrics and ruffle accents. Complimentary bottoms came in loose, cropped and palazzo styles.
Fun and flirty skirts showcased detachable suspenders, colorful prints, in high waist looks with high-low features, double slits, sheer overlay, ruffles and flowing fabric. Plus sizes made an appearance in curated separates and dresses. Cut to precision, dresses were fashioned in prairie, halter, handkerchief and maxi styles in sorbet, muted, smoky and floral colors, carefully crafted stitching, tie-necks, waist-ties and cap sleeves, with coquettish open fronts, semi open backs and high front slits.
