Date: September 11th Venue: Prince George Ballroom
Hulos Prive presented a memorable show during New York fashion week. Hair and makeup included slick back styles, red laced eyes, flawless faces, bronzed cheeks and satin lips. Wardrobe color palette featured jewel tones, oceanic blues, earth tones, green gradient color scheme and lots of denim.
Dresses were fashioned with peacock feathers, low cut fronts, cutouts, side slits and kimono silhouettes. Artistic motifs included dragons, koi fish, birds in flight and rolling ocean waves. Interchangeable separates peaked through outerwear; collared denim shirts with studded pockets, tulle skirts, cuffed shorts, cropped pants and colored stockings in cobalt blue, rose and purple hues. Intricate, military green and khaki trench coats, long cardigans and denim jackets captivated viewers with cutout designs, multi-pockets, a mashup of buttoned, double breasted and duffel front looks, with prominent stitching, fringing and drawstring detail, with aquatic and floral applique. Equally compelling were Japanese art adorned thigh high heeled boots, metallic gold strap heels, leather pumps and chunky soled lace up boots.
